India now leading the Test Series 0-1, New Zealand are in for more sort of trouble because the track at Mclean Park, Napier are having fungal disease has affected the grass on the pitch, causing small patches to die off.

India won the test after 33years, India will be looking this spirit high and wants to win the Test Series in New Zealand.

New Zealand Coach Moles warns India for the Second test which will start on 27th March 2009.

Moles said "We will practice hard and review our team, the Indians and on how we can do things better. I can promise you that Indians will face a lot sterner examination than they did in the first Test.

3rd Day New Zealand Vs India | Lead of 150 Fantastic Says Dravid

Former Captain Rahul Dravid feels if India managed to Give New Zealand Lead of 150runs would be very handy in the first test on Day three.

On a difficult track to give a 150 lead would be a "fantastic mark". After the Second day play which India end up with 278 for 4 with 1 run trial, Dravid said "More the merrier. I don't think there is a number in place at this stage. The wicket is going to remain the same right through and it is not easy to score runs against a harder and newer ball,"

Veteran Batsmen Dravid further added
"If we can get 150 ahead it would be fantastic. But we need to do the basics right and not worry about the runs. We need to get through that new ball tomorrow.

Rahul Dravid also Equals the Mark Waugh Record for test Catches. Dravid also Feels happy with his form as he scored his 54th half century in 132 Tests.

Dravid further added
In 2003, the wicket seamed a lot when 150 was a good score. This one has been a good, even wicket. There is something in it for the bowlers. And if the batsmen play well, you can still score runs, like Jesse Ryder and Vettori showed on Wednesday and some of us showed in our innings,

After New Zealand Brilliant Performance and a superb captain knock of 118 by Vettori and Ryder 102 put New Zealand to a total of 279 on the opening Day at Seddon Park.

On Day 2 it was a different story the Most Dangerous pair Gambhir and Shewag were unable to go for Big Score as Shewag departs early for 24. Gambhir and Dravi added 142 patnership for Second wicket, Gambhir made 72 and Dravid 66.

At stumps India were trailing with 1run short, thanks to superb Knock by Sachin Tendulkar who is unbeaten at 70 and Yuvraj singh at 8.

The Match was stopped due to Badlight.

India would be looking around 500 runs on Day three.
